The amount of changes that have occurred in my life in the last couple of months is unbelievable. I started this journey to “look better.” What I discovered was a lifestyle change that resulted in me feeling better more than just physically- but emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually. I can’t thank Maddy Hawthorn enough for taking a chance on coaching me. She’s stood behind me and encouraged me through some stuff that I honestly didn’t know I’d get through in tact. She’s never judged me for the days I didn’t do as well as I knew I could. She gave me a perspective that I can incorporate into this lifestyle change that I aim to maintain the rest of my life and has shown me that through it all, looking up and feeding my soul is ultimately the only foundation to be truly effective to this degree. When I started working with Maddy I was already in the middle of a workout plan but had no idea what to do with food. When we’d first talked she told me she could help me understand macros more! I did the 6 week macros only plan and it has changed my life for the better. Total I lost about 8 pounds & a lot of inches everywhere. Now I’m at a point where I understand macros and have been able to learn enough working with Maddy that I can always make smart choices and understand why things happen with the body the way they do. Without those 6 weeks I’m not sure where I would be weight/body/mind wise because I was just unhappy with my body. Now, after working with Maddy I know how to eat good to get my results but how to enjoy good foods along with understanding that it’s okay to slip up or take a day off when you need it. I’m so thankful to have chosen Maddy to get me started on my fitness journey and I can’t wait to work with her again very soon!
