Hearty Healthy Chili

Fall Favorite: Healthy Hearty Chili

This recipe is super simple, tasty, full of fiber and nutrients:

  1. Brown 1 lb of 97/3 lean ground beef in a pan, with 1/2 a yellow onion, and 1 diced green pepper

  2. Once brown add in 1 cup of hunts sauce, (look for one in can), can of drained and rinsed kidney beans, and 1 can of rotel chilies, and 1 can of diced tomatoes.

  3. Add water for desired consistency with desired amount of chili seasoning and salt (I usually make my own from scratch)

  4. If you want to kick it up a notch, add red chili flakes, and a couple of shakes of Franks red hot hot sauce .

    Super tasty & filling!

    Yields 4 servings: cals 319 cals | 36.4 carbs 7.2 fat. 31.8 protein
